Week 9 AP Top 25 Poll makes a mockery of Wake Forest and a laughable overreaction to USC's win over Buckeyes

The latest AP Top 25 rankings have sparked debate regarding the placement of undefeated programs and the treatment of Wake Forest. Despite a dominant 51-7 victory over Virginia that improved their record to 7-1, the Demon Deacons remained stagnant in the poll.

Critics argue this ignores their recent offensive surge, which includes outscoring opponents 187-31 over the last four weeks.

Elsewhere, the rankings have drawn scrutiny for the positioning of the top five teams. While Miami holds the top spot, questions persist about placing Utah at number three over an equally undefeated UCLA squad that secured a notable road win against Oregon.

Additionally, Notre Dame remains ranked fourth despite having a loss on their record, a decision that has fueled accusations of bias among voters.
