Next Florida State Coach: Top 5 Best Candidates at FSU to Replace Mike Norvell

Florida State has officially dismissed head coach Mike Norvell following a loss to Louisville, leaving the university to manage a $51 million buyout. The search for a successor is underway, with five primary candidates identified: Wake Forest's Jake Dickert, former Seminoles coach Jimbo Fisher, Duke's Manny Diaz, Colorado's Deion Sanders, and New Mexico's Jason Eck.

Fisher has reportedly been in contact with donors regarding the program's NIL and transfer portal status, while other candidates bring varying levels of institutional familiarity or recent coaching success to the table.
