Who won WNBA Finals MVP? Gabby Williams claims honor after historic Game 7 scoring outburst

Gabby Williams has been named the 2026 WNBA Finals MVP, capping a seven-game championship run for the Golden State Valkyries against the Atlanta Dream. The award recognizes her consistent performance throughout the series, where she led her team in scoring and anchored a defensive effort that repeatedly limited Atlanta's top scorers.

Williams' selection was solidified by a dominant second half in the decisive Game 7, during which she recorded a Finals-record 28 points. Despite starting slowly with only two points in the first 20 minutes, her late-game offensive surge helped Golden State overcome a seven-point deficit to secure the title.
