Who is Derrin Horton? Lakers name new public address announcer

The Los Angeles franchise announced a veteran broadcaster as their upcoming voice for home contests at Crypto.com Arena. The newly appointed official boasts over thirty-five years of experience across various broadcast roles and will debut during an upcoming exhibition match against the Sacramento Kings.

He succeeds a long-tenured predecessor who dedicated more than forty-three campaigns to the organization before passing away in September.
