Deion Sanders needs a special teams coordinator after 'too few men' during FG block

During their matchup against the twelfth-ranked squad from Texas Tech, the Colorado Buffaloes managed to secure a halftime lead after hosting the contest at home. However, head coach Deion Sanders faced scrutiny regarding his special teams management after the unit fielded only eight players during a field goal block attempt.

Following a stoppage in play, the formation returned with just nine athletes on the field, highlighting a lack of a dedicated coordinator for that unit on the coaching staff. Jacob Heavers currently serves in a graduate assistant capacity for special teams, leaving the team without a designated coordinator to oversee those formations.
