Did Jim Mora fire Colorado State's defensive coordinator mid-game?

Colorado State head coach Jim Mora dismissed defensive coordinator Tyson Summers during a 56-26 defeat against Oregon State. Following the in-game dismissal, Kenny McClendon took over defensive play-calling duties for the remainder of the contest, while Trent Matthews assisted by signaling plays from the sideline.

The defensive struggles culminated in consecutive games where the team surrendered at least 50 points, giving up 639 total yards in the matchup with the Beavers. Summers previously served as interim head coach late last season before Mora retained him for the current campaign.
