Week 8 overreactions: Time for Vikings to bench Kyler Murray? Colts should fire Steichen?

Following a six-game winning streak, the Minnesota Vikings suffered their first defeat of the season in a 19-15 loss to the Detroit Lions. Jahmyr Gibbs paced the Lions with 168 yards from scrimmage and a score, while Jared Goff connected with Jameson Williams for the decisive touchdown.

The performance of Vikings quarterback Kyler Murray has drawn intense scrutiny after he completed 17 of 29 passes for 210 yards with one touchdown and one interception. Analysts point to his 17.2 percent off-target rate and a career-high 3.20-second average time to throw as evidence that his struggles are reaching a critical point.
