Washington Commanders vs Philadelphia Eagles: NFL Week 8 game chat and live discussion

The Washington Commanders host the Philadelphia Eagles at Northwest Stadium this Sunday night in a matchup between two struggling division rivals. Washington enters the contest following a bye week, though they face defensive personnel challenges with Daron Payne sidelined by a foot injury and Javon Kinlaw unavailable due to knee issues.

The team is currently evaluating the potential return of Jer'Zhan Newton from injured reserve to bolster their defensive line depth. Philadelphia arrives in Landover with a 2-4 record after a recent defeat to the Dallas Cowboys.

With Jalen Hurts ruled out for the remainder of the season due to blood clots, the Eagles will start Tanner McKee at quarterback. Jayden Daniels leads the Commanders as they look to secure their first victory in over a year against an Eagles defense that has struggled throughout the campaign.
