After a lengthy recovery from a fractured fibula sustained last November, cornerback Trey Amos has finally returned to the field for the Washington Commanders. Following a series of setbacks during his rehabilitation, Amos made his season debut in Week 7 against the San Francisco 49ers, recording two tackles and allowing two catches for 25 yards across 36 snaps.
Head coach Dan Quinn praised the defensive back for his mental fortitude throughout the extended absence. With Amos back in the rotation alongside Amik Robertson, the team aims to stabilize a secondary that has struggled for consistency this year.
