Liberty’s Breanna Stewart shocks Lynx with stats never before seen in the WNBA

New York shocked the top-seeded Minnesota squad with a 91-75 victory on Sunday in the opening game of their playoff series. Breanna Stewart delivered a historic performance for the eighth-seeded visitors, accumulating 34 points, 10 rebounds, six assists, two steals, and two blocks.

The defensive effort restricted Minnesota to 41.8 percent shooting, limiting Olivia Miles and Napheesa Collier as the squad moved one win away from advancing to the semifinals. New York will host the next contest on Tuesday as they attempt to eliminate the hosts.
