What happened to Natalie Nakase? What we know after Valkyries coach falls to court

The Golden State Valkyries secured a historic postseason series win by defeating the Dallas Wings with a score of 77-73 on Friday night. During a late stoppage in the fourth quarter, Valkyries head coach Natalie Nakase experienced a frightening incident when she dropped to the floor while communicating with an official.

Assistance arrived quickly from medical personnel and her coaching staff, and she managed to rise back up and guide her team through the remainder of the contest. Following the final buzzer, Nakase appeared unwell once again while exchanging handshakes with opposing coach Jose Fernandez, requiring additional support from her staff as she exited.
