‘Full pardon’ – Donald Trump offers Dennis Rodman, Enes Kanter WNBA route

During a campaign gathering in Oklahoma, Donald Trump stated that former professional basketball players Dennis Rodman and Enes Kanter Freedom hold an exemption allowing them to compete in women's athletic competitions. Trump declared he would grant the pair a complete pardon to participate in the league whenever they choose and projected they would shatter historical performance benchmarks in women's sports.

Kanter Freedom had previously expressed ambitions to join the 2027 draft class for the league. However, league sources and independent reports previously confirmed that neither athlete meets the collectively bargained participation criteria required to enter the competition, and the presidential remarks carry no impact on their official status.
