Kris Srikkanth questions India's treatment of Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, issues warning to selectors

Former captain Kris Srikkanth has criticized the team leadership for sidelining fifteen-year-old batter Vaibhav Sooryavanshi during the concluding fixture of the T20I series against New Zealand. Srikkanth argued that the youngster should have received continuous opportunities rather than remaining on the sidelines after already securing the series victory.

He also highlighted previous missed chances to blood the teenager during earlier encounters against Ireland and the West Indies, warning that repeated benching could harm the player's confidence and development.
