Hirakawa scores points on his F1 debut after both Alpine drivers are penalised | Formula 1

Ryo Hirakawa secured his first championship points during his maiden Grand Prix appearance after finishing thirteenth on track. Post-race infractions by rival competitors subsequently elevated him into the top ten.

Franco Colapinto and Pierre Gasly both faced disciplinary measures from race officials for failing to adequately slow down for yellow caution flags that were deployed following an incident involving Oscar Piastri and Arvid Lindblad. Gasly incurred a stop-and-go sanction along with penalty points, whereas Colapinto received a time penalty and a single point on his licence.

These adjustments dropped Colapinto to fifteenth and Gasly to seventeenth in the final classification, while Liam Lawson, Gabriel Bortoleto, Isack Hadjar, and Hirakawa all benefited with improved final positions.
