Commanders fumble leads to Saquon Barkley TD, Eagles up 10-0

The Philadelphia Eagles jumped out to a commanding 10-0 lead over the Washington Commanders in the opening minutes, capitalizing on a critical turnover. Andrew Mukuba forced a fumble by Chig Okonkwo near midfield, setting up Saquon Barkley for a quick 3-yard touchdown run.

The Commanders struggled early, failing to capitalize on a Luke McCaffrey kickoff return to the Washington 50-yard line, as Jayden Daniels managed just two completions on six attempts for 15 yards across three drives. Barkley, meanwhile, emerged as the offensive sparkplug, contributing both on the ground (12 rushing yards on five carries) and through the air (a 24-yard reception).
