Despite a difficult 2-5 start to the season and declining usage for their star running back, the Philadelphia Eagles have signaled they do not intend to trade Saquon Barkley before the November 10 deadline. General manager Howie Roseman has reportedly informed interested teams that the 29-year-old is not available, as the organization looks to maintain its core roster for the 2027 campaign.
Barkley, who has two years and $35 million remaining on his current deal, has struggled with a back injury and limited production this fall. He is expected to suit up for the upcoming matchup against the Washington Commanders, joining Jaydon Blue and Elijah Mitchell in the backfield while several other teammates remain on injured reserve.
