11 winners, 8 losers from Detroit Lions’ win over the Minnesota Vikings

The Detroit Lions handed the Minnesota Vikings their first defeat of the season in a hard-fought divisional matchup. While the victory was significant, the game was marred by a serious injury to Lions linebacker Jack Campbell, which prompted quarterback Jared Goff to reflect on the human element of the sport.

Offensive coordinator Drew Petzing earned praise for his halftime adjustments, shifting from ineffective horizontal plays to a more successful north-south rushing attack that included a 30-yard touchdown run by Jahmyr Gibbs. Jameson Williams also contributed a notable 46-yard reception during the contest.
