🤣 A striker's finish! Rodinei's own goal amuses social media; watch 🎥

Santos right-back Rodinei became an unlikely scorer in a bizarre own goal during Monday’s clash with Bragantino, a moment that went viral for all the wrong reasons. The full-back’s header into his own net in the 2–1 defeat for Santos was later attributed to disorientation caused by the stadium’s floodlights, which he said were positioned lower than usual and temporarily blinded him.

Coach Cuca confirmed Rodinei’s explanation after the match, though the error proved costly as Bragantino secured a narrow victory in Bragança Paulista.
