See how the Brasileirão table looks after matchweek 34's opening games

Bragantino moved ahead of Santos in the Brasileirão standings after securing a 2-1 victory in the sole match played on Monday, the first day of matchweek 34. The contest, held in Bragança Paulista, saw Rodinei score an own goal to give Santos an early lead, though Coutinho restored parity before Wallace Yan scored the decisive goal for the home side.

Both clubs remain in contention for a spot in the upcoming Copa Libertadores, a prospect bolstered by the expansion of qualifying places via the domestic league. The remainder of the matchweek is scheduled to continue daily through Friday, featuring high-profile clashes such as Flamengo against Grêmio and São Paulo facing Corinthians.

These upcoming fixtures could significantly alter the dynamics of the title race, the European qualification battle, and the struggle to avoid relegation.
