Wilson major Wales injury concern for Nations League

Wales manager Craig Bellamy faces a growing selection crisis ahead of the upcoming Nations League window, with Harry Wilson emerging as a significant fitness doubt alongside several confirmed absentees. The national team is already deprived of Leeds United defender Joe Rodon, as well as Cardiff City's defensive duo Ronan Kpakio and Dylan Lawlor.

Further up the pitch, Cardiff attacking pair Rubin Colwill and Isaak Davies are sidelined by injuries, while Wrexham forward Nathan Broadhead is likewise ruled out of contention.

The challenging run of four fixtures begins on 24 September when Wales, currently sitting at 38th in the FIFA rankings—their poorest standing since August 2014—journey to play Portugal. Bellamy's side will subsequently head to Copenhagen to battle 21st-ranked Denmark, before returning to Cardiff to host World Cup quarter-finalists Norway on 1 October and wrapping up the extended international window with a rematch at home against Denmark on 4 October.
