Josh Cameron records first NFL touchdown

Jacksonville Jaguars rookie wide receiver Josh Cameron made a swift impact during the team's 2026 opener, catching a four-yard touchdown pass delivered by Trevor Lawrence toward the end of the opening quarter. That reception marked the team's second score of the contest and the first professional touchdown of Cameron's career.

Lawrence, who also tossed a 30-yard scoring strike to top target Parker Washington following a defensive turnover, hit another milestone by reaching 100 career touchdown passes in the 34-10 victory over the Cleveland Browns. Additional offensive contributions for Jacksonville included an opening-week touchdown by Brenton Strange and a milestone performance from Brian Thomas Jr., who crossed 2,000 career receiving yards despite briefly exiting due to a shoulder issue.
