Hunt 5AM Limitless wheels review: How do the fastest wheels in the wind tunnel fare in the real world?

Hunt has expanded its line of components with the newly released 5AM Limitless wheelset, featuring a deeper front wheel than rear to embrace the current road mullet trend. Officially named the 5AM Limitless Ti-UD Carbon Spoke Disc, the equipment recently claimed the top spot as the fastest option tested in a wind tunnel.

Mounted onto a Look Blade 795 RS outfitted with Dura-Ace components for real-world testing, the wheels successfully translated their laboratory speed to the pavement with responsive and well-behaved handling. The setup features a measured weight of 1,229 grams, a dark grey gloss finish with built-in logos, an internal width of 23mm, and a price tag ranging from £1,999 up to £3,199 depending on bearing options and freehub compatibility.
