Bryan Cristante believes Manchester United’s penalty v Roma was too soft

Manchester United overturned a 2-0 first‑half deficit against Roma at Old Trafford, securing a dramatic Champions League comeback. Bruno Fernandes converted a penalty and Mateus Cunha scored twice to complete the turnaround, giving United their third win in all competitions after a recent victory over Sabah.

Roma captain Bryan Cristante criticised the penalty, saying the contact by Gianluca Mancini on Cunha appeared “very light” for a European match and that the charged atmosphere at Old Trafford helped United regain momentum.
