Following a tumultuous weekend of college football action, the latest US LBM Coaches Poll Top 25 reflects significant movement across the board. Texas maintains the top position despite a tough battle on the road against Tennessee, securing forty-five first-place ballots from the seventy-three participating voters.
Georgia sits comfortably at number two with seventeen top nods following a decisive victory over Oklahoma, while Notre Dame holds firm at number three with three first-place votes. Further down the list, Miami edges past Indiana into the fourth spot based on overall points, and Ohio State climbs to number six just ahead of Alabama.
The most dramatic ascent belongs to Florida, which skyrocketed into the top ten at number eight following a commanding triumph over Mississippi, marking the program's initial top-ten appearance since September of 2021. Meanwhile, Iowa jumped four positions to fourteenth after a last-second victory at Michigan, and Mississippi State entered the rankings at number sixteen following a narrow win over Missouri.
Several other programs experienced notable shifts, including Brigham Young, Texas Tech, LSU, Brigham Young, and Oregon, alongside four new arrivals to the top twenty-five rounding out a completely overhauled national standings list.
