A 14-year-old Coventry supporter has voluntarily reported to police following the circulation of a video that allegedly shows him taunting Sunderland fans with a photograph of Bradley Lowery during Saturday’s Premier League fixture. The boy, whose identity has not been released, was seen holding up the image during the match, prompting an investigation by West Midlands police.

Bradley Lowery, a Sunderland fan, became a global symbol of resilience after being diagnosed with neuroblastoma—a rare and aggressive form of childhood cancer—at just six years old. He passed away in 2017, leaving behind a legacy that continues to resonate deeply within the football community.

The incident has reignited discussions about the emotional weight of tributes in sports, particularly for young supporters navigating grief and public sentiment.
