NFL odds: Week 1 parlays for favorites and underdogs include Eagles-Commanders, Broncos-Chiefs

The opening week of the NFL calendar began with Wednesday's low-scoring clash, in which the Seattle Seahawks secured a 13-10 victory over the New England Patriots. Thirteen more contests are scheduled for Sunday, leading up to a Monday night showdown between the Denver Broncos and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Analyst Mike Tierney, who has attended seven Super Bowls over decades of league coverage, assembled three-team money-line wagers for both favorites and underdogs heading into the weekend. Over the previous four campaigns, Tierney has compiled a 320-271-16 record that yielded $1,867 for $100 bettors, highlighted by a 130-101 against-the-spread mark (56.3%) across the last two years.

Among his selections for the favorites parlay, he backed the Chicago Bears under head coach Ben Johnson and passer Caleb Williams to top the Carolina Panthers.
