World Series 2026: Jacob Misiorowski throws fastest pitch in recorded Fall Classic history at 103.5 mph

Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Jacob Misiorowski will start Game 1 of the 2026 World Series against the Tampa Bay Rays. The young right-hander, who led the league in WHIP, ERA, and strikeouts this year, is expected to be the National League Cy Young winner.

Facing him on the mound for Tampa Bay is veteran Nick Martinez. The series opens Friday at 8 p.m. ET in Milwaukee, featuring a matchup between Misiorowski's high-velocity fastball and a Rays hitter with the league's fastest raw bat speed.
