Paolo Banchero injury update: Why Magic star exited game vs. Timberwolves

Paolo Banchero had to leave the game against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday after an injury scare. The Orlando Magic suffered a heavy defeat in that contest.

Earlier in the week, Banchero set an NBA record by scoring at least 35 points in the season opener against the Atlanta Hawks, where the Magic lost 132-125. That game at the Kia Center also saw Banchero and Jalen Johnson clash in a heated argument that required teammates and staff to separate them.
