Trump takes on basketball as he calls for WNBA boycott, slams LeBron James

During a campaign event in Iowa on Thursday, political figure Donald Trump advocated for a commercial shutdown of women's professional basketball. He pointed to certain teams exiting the playing area while the patriotic song played before championship matchups as a reason for viewers to look away, drawing a parallel to past protests in professional football.

The targeted player dismissed the remarks by suggesting the calendar was lacking in significant developments.
