Milwaukee's radio announcers will honor the late Bob Uecker during the first game of the World Series against the Tampa Bay Rays. Four members of the broadcast team, including Jeff Levering, plan to wear jackets previously owned by Uecker, who served as the team's voice for over 50 years before his death in 2025 at age 90.
Levering recently showcased a jacket Uecker once wore on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson during an appearance on MLB Central. He noted that Uecker remains a fundamental part of the city and the franchise's identity.
