Utah football’s Devon Dampier, Morgan Scalley throw shade at haters after squeezing life out of Houston

Following a hard-fought 21-13 victory over Houston on Saturday night, Utah head coach Morgan Scalley and quarterback Devon Dampier addressed external skepticism surrounding their squad. Despite falling behind 10-0 early and Dampier tossing two interceptions, the offense rallied with three crucial touchdown drives to preserve their undefeated status and maintain the top position in the Big 12.

Scalley praised the resilience of his roster following the road triumph, which saw the Utes silence doubters who had suggested the program had not faced quality competition or would stumble against the Cougars. Utah now turns its attention to an upcoming matchup against Cincinnati scheduled for October 31.
