Falcons LB Kendal Daniels, a week after scary neck injury, recovers fumble late to help lift Atlanta past San Francisco

Just a week after a frightening neck injury threatened to sideline him for an extended period, Atlanta Falcons linebacker Kendal Daniels made a remarkable recovery to suit up for Week 7. Daniels turned in a career-best performance with eleven tackles and sealed the game late by recovering a crucial fumble, helping the Falcons hand the San Francisco 49ers their first loss of the season in a 29-20 upset.

In a separate incident during the contest, Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts collided with a sideline microphone operator near the end zone after scoring a touchdown, immediately checking on her alongside teammate Drake London.
