UAE Team L'IMAD shutter development squad amid ongoing turbulence

UAE Team L'IMAD has announced plans to discontinue its women's Continental development squad at the conclusion of the 2026 campaign. Leadership intends to merge youth training directly into the main WorldTour organization instead.

The roster currently features 11 athletes, though only Abigail Miller held a signed agreement carrying through to 2027. Past participants who advanced through the feeder setup include Paula Blasi, Lara Gillespie, and Linda Zanetti.

Team president Melissa Moncada emphasized that current members will still receive tailored assistance to help them navigate the transition and continue advancing their professional paths.
