After Raiders coach Klint Kubiak proclaims his team was going to win, the Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes find way to another clutch victory

Kansas City improved to 4-0 following a hard-fought 30-27 triumph over Las Vegas at Allegiant Stadium on October 4, 2026. Raiders coach Klint Kubiak had expressed bold optimism during a halftime interview when his side held a 13-10 advantage, but Patrick Mahomes and the visitors ultimately secured another clutch win to remain undefeated in the AFC West.

Earlier, Kirk Cousins connected with Ian Thomas for a 27-yard touchdown to open the scoring for the hosts, before Mahomes answered with a scoring pass to Tyquan Thornton. Despite falling to 3-1, Las Vegas proved they are closing the gap, though a late fumble on a kickoff return ultimately dashed their upset aspirations.
