Craig Woodson, Patriots defense step up in upset win over Bills

New England secured a surprise road victory against Buffalo, overcoming a late deficit thanks to a decisive fourth-quarter scoring drive led by Drake Maye. While the Bills briefly took the lead following a Keon Coleman touchdown reception, the Patriots defense held firm in the closing moments when Craig Woodson intercepted a pass intended for Joshua Palmer.

Despite missing key contributors like Christian Gonzalez and Christian Barmore, the New England defensive unit successfully stifled a high-scoring Buffalo offense and limited their ground game significantly below seasonal averages. Head coach Mike Vrabel praised his team's resilience and the collective effort of a roster relying on depth players to fill critical gaps.
