Tyler Shough limited in practice with left hand injury

New Orleans Saints quarterback Tyler Shough played through a left-hand injury in Monday night’s 74-snap loss to the Atlanta Falcons, wrapping the affected hand afterward. Though the team listed him as limited in Wednesday’s practice, Saints coach Kellen Moore and Shough himself downplayed concerns, with the quarterback noting via video that it was merely a bruise akin to minor bumps.

Shough confirmed he’ll suit up for Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Vikings, despite lingering soreness from the shorter week’s workload. Meanwhile, multiple Saints players—including wide receiver Barion Brown, linebacker Kaden Elliss, and edge rusher Anfernee Jennings—missed practice entirely due to separate injuries, while others like safety Julian Blackmon and tight end Noah Fant were restricted by their own ailments.
