Transfer rumors, news: Arsenal's Madueke eyed by Premier League rivals

Several unnamed Premier League competitors are keeping tabs on Arsenal winger Noni Madueke ahead of a potential January transfer, as the 24-year-old struggles to secure consistent playing time. Madueke, who arrived from Chelsea just last summer, has tallied nine goals and four assists across 48 outings for the Gunners, but he now faces internal competition on the right wing from emerging talent Max Dowman.

Meanwhile, Liverpool maintains a long-term interest in 20-year-old AZ Alkmaar midfielder Kees Smit, a Dutch international who debuted in March but missed out on the 2026 World Cup squad. Elsewhere, Arsenal, Aston Villa, and Brighton & Hove Albion are tracking 17-year-old Sturm Graz prospect Luca Weinhandl, who could command a £20 million valuation in the winter market.

In other transfer movements, free-agent center-back Matt Miazga is nearing an agreement with New York City FC following his release by FC Cincinnati.
