Trade pickup Jaylen Reed showing positive strides since Patriots arrival

New England Patriots running back TreVeyon Henderson announced on Thursday that he will be active for the upcoming Week 2 matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Henderson had been sidelined from team drills since August 24 before getting back onto the practice field on Monday.

Meanwhile, the Steelers will be without starting cornerback Joey Porter for Sunday's game. In roster moves, the Patriots parted ways with rookie offensive lineman Jacob Rizy, cutting him from their practice squad following a visit from veteran free agent Xavier.
