Top Five Best Men’s First Round Matches At The 2026 ATP Paris Masters

The 2026 ATP Paris Masters promises an electrifying start with five first-round matchups that could define the tournament’s narrative. Matteo Berrettini, still capable of delivering explosive tennis despite recent injury setbacks, faces Brandon Nakashima, who has enjoyed his best form of the year on North American hard courts.

Their clash—marked by powerful serves and relentless groundstrokes—could hinge on who handles the return better, setting the tone for a closely contested battle reminiscent of their Shanghai showdown. Meanwhile, Lorenzo Musetti, fresh off his first ATP title in nearly four years, takes on Hubert Hurkacz, whose towering serve and aggressive baseline game will clash against Musetti’s tactical versatility.

With both players aiming to cap off their seasons on a high note, this matchup carries added weight after recent physical challenges for each.
