13 Players Withdraw from WTA Hong Kong

Thirteen competitors have pulled out of the upcoming tennis tournament in Hong Kong as the tour nears its conclusion prior to the WTA Finals. Several athletes chose to wrap up their campaigns after strong showings during the Asian swing, including tournament champions Qinwen Zheng, Diana Shnaider, and doubles winner Jasmine Paolini alongside partner Sara Errani.

Additional early departures feature Sonay Kartal, Kimberly Birrell, Xinran Sun, Ann Li, Anna Bondar, Cristina Bucsa, Anhelina Kalinina, Mayar Sherif, Daria Snigur, and Yuliia Starodubtseva, with organizers noting that none of the roster changes stem from long-term injuries.
