T.J. Hockenson scores in opener

The Minnesota Vikings launched their 2026 campaign with an impressive comeback, overcoming a second-half deficit by racking up 29 straight points to defeat the Green Bay Packers 39-22. J.

Hockenson alongside a dominant outing from Justin Jefferson, who hauled in eight passes for 92 yards and reached the end zone twice.

Despite the defeat, Green Bay receiver Christian Watson delivered a monster performance with six grabs for 147 yards and two touchdowns, highlighted by an 81-yard scoring strike. Tight end Tucker Kraft made his return from a torn ACL to tally 65 yards across three receptions, while Jayden Reed was limited to just three catches for 20 yards on seven targets.

Kraft was vocal after the team's collapse, choosing to criticize his own squad rather than acknowledge the Vikings.
