Swansea go top after victory at Lincoln

Swansea climbed to the summit of the Championship following a 2-1 comeback win against Lincoln at the ProAmpac Stadium. The hosts seized an initial advantage late in the first half courtesy of a Reeco Hackett penalty, awarded after Josh Tymon fouled Freddie Draper.

Hackett had troubled Swansea earlier, testing Lawrence Vigouroux with a low effort and later failing to capitalize on an errant clearance from the goalkeeper. Meanwhile, George Wickens had to backtrack rapidly to tip away Elijah Just's ambitious 45-yard lob attempt for the visitors.

The Swans mounted an immediate response after the interval, equalizing within two minutes when Melker Widell set up Moussa Yeo for a close-range finish. Stephen Eustaquio then secured the victory in the 51st minute, registering his maiden goal for the club via a deflected strike fed by Just.

The Welsh side held on, with Widell and Ronald both going close to adding a third, while Tom Shaw's Lincoln side saw their five-game unbeaten sequence snapped. Swansea now sit two points clear of Middlesbrough ahead of the international break, vulnerable only to a massive West Brom victory over Wolves on Sunday.
