Stephen A. Smith urges Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys to hire Rex Ryan away from ESPN

During a recent broadcast, Stephen A. Smith suggested that the Dallas Cowboys should recruit Rex Ryan from his current broadcasting role to improve their defensive performance.

Smith criticized Brian Schottenheimer for his team's struggles, prompting Michael Irvin to join the conversation by expressing his own frustration with the current coaching staff. Although Ryan has not held an NFL coaching position since 2015, Smith argued that his presence could provide the necessary intensity for the team.

Previous discussions between Jerry Jones and Ryan regarding a potential hiring did not result in a contract.
