Troy Aikman not convinced by Dallas Cowboys after ‘MNF’ victory

Despite the Dallas Cowboys securing a win over the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night Football, Troy Aikman remains skeptical regarding the team's postseason potential. The victory brings Dallas to a 3-4 record, though Aikman noted the opponent was significantly shorthanded due to injuries and health concerns.

During a post-game discussion with Scott Van Pelt, the analyst emphasized that the result should not be overstated given the state of the Eagles' roster. Aikman further suggested that the Cowboys' future hinges on the development of their defense as the season progresses.

Beyond his analysis, Aikman is reportedly nearing the end of his tenure at ESPN and has expressed openness to discussing a future role with Jerry Jones.
