No. 15 Texas Tech Faces Must-Win Test Against West Virginia

Ranked fifteenth in the initial College Football Playoff standings, the seven and one Texas Tech squad prepares for a crucial conference clash against West Virginia this weekend. Following a recent setback against Cincinnati, the Red Raiders aim to protect their home turf and preserve their championship ambitions with four contests left in the regular season.

Joey McGuire's group continues to manage multiple roster setbacks, with players such as Donte Lee Jr. and Cameron Dickey sidelined due to injuries, while quarterback Thomas Castellanos looks to maintain his strong offensive momentum following a breakout performance.
