New York Jets: 5 Up, 2 Down: Looking at stock after the Jets/Titans Game

The New York Jets launched their 2026 campaign with an emphatic 23-10 road triumph over the Tennessee Titans at Nissan Stadium on September 13. Running back Breece Hall paced the ground attack with 102 yards alongside a score, while quarterback Geno Smith recorded 215 passing yards in his return to guide New York's 367 yards of total offense.

The decisive outcome delivered Aaron Glenn a victorious debut as head coach while dampening Tennessee coach Robert Saleh's first contest against his previous club.

Defensively, New York stayed in command from the start by neutralizing Titans quarterback Cam Ward throughout the afternoon. The matchup spotlighted a major influx of emerging talent, highlighted by five opening-round rookies across both rosters, including Tennessee draft choices Carnell Tate and Keldric Faulk taken fourth and 31st overall.
