Kirk Cousins quieted critics calling for a quarterback change by leading the Las Vegas Raiders to a 38-33 comeback victory against the New York Jets. After trailing by two scores at halftime, Cousins delivered a standout performance, accounting for four total touchdowns and completing 19 of 26 passes for 247 yards.
Tight end Brock Bowers also fueled the offense with 92 receiving yards and two scores on seven catches, earning the highest PFF grade among pass-catchers for the week.
Defensively, Eric Stokes struggled against the Jets' passing attack, allowing seven receptions for 81 yards and a touchdown while being targeted 11 times. Despite the defensive lapses, the win keeps the Raiders in the hunt for the AFC's third wild card spot.
Head coach Klint Kubiak's decision to stick with his veteran signal-caller proved effective, likely securing Cousins' starting role for the immediate future.
