Neville: Carrick has got to stop defending the players

Following a one-all stalemate against Fulham, pundit Gary Neville criticized Manchester United for an abysmal start to the second half at Craven Cottage. The visiting side managed to salvage a point thanks to a late deflected effort from Matheus Cunha, avoiding a third consecutive league defeat after Lisandro Martinez contributed an own goal.

Neville strongly advised manager Michael Carrick to cease shielding the squad from criticism, pointing out an alarming lack of effort and movement while out of possession during the match.
