Max Verstappen finished third in the US Grand Prix, following a battle for second place with Charles Leclerc. Despite a podium finish, the four-time champion was unhappy with Red Bull's choice of softer tires, which he felt lacked grip compared to the harder compounds used by others.
He also noted that a slow pit stop and inconsistent power unit performance hindered his rhythm throughout the race.
Verstappen had previously won in Singapore and Malaysia, but he believes the car's speed in both high and low-speed corners is lacking. While he initially lost a position at the start, he regained it before the first lap ended, though he eventually fell behind Andrea Kimi Antonelli, who won the event in Austin.
