Liverpool icon Steven Gerrard hails Jude Bellingham after key Real Madrid milestone: ‘I love his hunger’

Former midfielder Steven Gerrard has praised the achievements of Jude Bellingham after the young star reached fifty goals for Real Madrid faster than Zinedine Zidane. Speaking on a recent podcast appearance, the ex-Liverpool captain highlighted the Englishman's exceptional competitive drive and confirmed he would select the playmaker in any world XI.

Bellingham recently secured his half-century during a dominant three-goal shutout against Racing Santander, requiring one hundred fifty-four matches to achieve the milestone following his transfer from Borussia Dortmund two years prior. Gerrard also expressed disbelief at the midfielder finishing eleventh in the recent Ballon d'Or voting.

Meanwhile, the twenty-three-year-old has secured a spot among the finalists for the upcoming FIFPRO Men's World eleven for the twenty twenty-six selection alongside teammates Kylian Mbappe, Thibaut Courtois, and Marc Cucurella.
